BlastBall (Ages 3 & 4)

Saturday mornings from 10am to 10:35am for 10 weeks. 
Season begins on May 25, 2019.

Blast Ball is a fun and easy to play initiation program which introduces the 5 fundamentals of baseball – hitting, throwing, catching, running and fielding. Players hit from a tee and run to a single base which makes an audible honk as it is stepped on. Teams are generally limited to 5 players in order to keep participants busy and active. Sessions are 35 minutes long split between skill development and game play. No gloves or helmets are required although shared helmets will be available. Running shoes are required. Shirts will be provided.

T-Ball (ages 5 - 7)

Saturday mornings from 9am to 9:55am for 10 weeks.   

T-Ball continues to build on the skills and fundamentals introduced in Blast Ball. Sessions are 1 hour long and time is split between skill development and game play. Players who have mastered hitting from the tee will be further challenged by hitting balls pitched by a coach or machine. Gloves, helmets and running shoes or baseball cleats are required. Shared helmets will be available. Shirts will be provided.

Additional batting practices with pitching machine to be scheduled during the season.

 

NEW** Jr. Rookie Ball House League (Ages 6 & 7)

Saturday mornings from 9am to 9:55am and 10am to 10:55am for 10 weeks. 

Jr. Rookie Ball continues to develop the skills learned in Blast Ball and T-Ball.   Jr. Rookie Ball is an alternative to T-Ball and intended for children ages 6 and 7 who have previous baseball experience and looking for an additional challenge. Participants are introduced to pitched balls in a controlled and safe environment via the use of a pitching machine. Gloves, helmets and running shoes or baseball cleats are required. Shared helmets will be available. Shirts and a ball cap will be provided. Baseball pants are strongly recommended.  All games are played on a diamond.

Sr. Rookie Ball House League (ages 8-9, Girls up to 10)

Wednesday evenings for 10 weeks. Each session will be 90 minutes long and include practice and game time. 

Sr. Rookie Ball continues to develop the skills learned in Blast Ball, T-Ball and Jr. Rookie Ball. Participants are pitched balls in a controlled and safe environment via the use of a pitching machine. Gloves, helmets and running shoes or baseball cleats are required. Shared helmets will be available. Shirts and a ball cap will be provided. Players are responsible for purchasing their own pants.

 

Mosquito House League (ages 10/11, Girls up to 12)

Wednesday evenings for 10 weeks. Each session will be 90 minutes long and include practice and game time. 

Mosquito continues to develop the skills learned in Rookie Ball. For the first half of the game players will face pitches from a pitching machine. The second half of the game will be player pitch. Gloves, helmets and running shoes or baseball cleats are required. Shared helmets will be available. Shirts and a ball cap will be provided. Players are responsible for purchasing their own baseball pants.

Peewee House League (ages 12 - 13, Girls up to 14)

Monday evenings for 10 weeks. Each session will be 90 minutes long and include practice and game time.  

Peewee continues to develop the skills learned in Mosquito. Games are entirely player pitch. Gloves, helmets and running shoes or baseball cleats are required. Shared helmets will be available. Jerseys and a ball cap will be provided. Players are responsible for purchasing their own baseball pants.

BANTAM House League (Ages 14-16 / Girls up to 17)

10 weeks, schedule TBD. Each session will be 90 minutes long and include practice and game time.  

Bantam will focus on providing a fun and challenging league for our oldest players.  If registration numbers permit we will run an internal houseleague.  Alternatively teams could play in the Southern Counties Local League or London District Baseball Local League.  Gloves, helmets and baseball cleats are required. Shared helmets will be available. Shirts and a ball cap will be provided. Players are responsible for purchasing their own baseball pants.

Rookie Ball Rep (ages 7-9, girls up to 10)

Rookie Ball Select tryouts will begin indoors in March.   New this year team tryouts will be held at the St.Thomas indoor baseball facility.  The team will play in the Southern Counties baseball league against Simcoe, Delhi, Port Dover, Norfolk, Tillsonburg and Ingersoll. A decision on whether the team will be a select team of house league players or a full rep team will be made at the end of the registration period.  Home games are Monday evenings.

Mosquito Rep (ages 10/11, girls up to 12)

Mosquito Select tryouts will begin indoors in March. New this year the team tryout sessions will be held at the St.Thomas indoor baseball facility.  The team would play in the Southern Counties baseball league against Simcoe, Delhi, Port Dover, Norfolk, Tillsonburg and Ingersoll. A decision on whether the team will be a select team of house league players or a full rep team will be made at the end of the registration period. Home games are Thursday evenings.

 

Peewee Rep (ages 12/13, girls up to 14)

Peewee Rep tryouts will begin indoors in March.  New this year the team tryout sessions will be held at the St.Thomas indoor baseball facility.  The team would play in the Southern Counties baseball league against Simcoe, Delhi, Port Dover, Norfolk, Tillsonburg and Ingersoll.
